Why Owner's Title Insurance?

Often, at the closing table, the buyer sees they are being charged for title insurance, but often, they are not aware that the policy they are purchasing does not protect their interest, rather the interests of their lender.  There are few things in life more important than protecting your investment in your home.   


The following matters are examples of why you need an OWNER'S Title Insurance Policy from Winter Title to protect your investment.  Remember that the best examination or search of your title cannot protect your equity and home from matters not appearing the public records.  However, subject to certain limitations set forth in the policy, a Title Owner's Policy can protect you from financial loss resulting from a number of matters that could affect the title to your property, including:
